The property comprises approximately 850 rooms and offers resort-style facilities including a swimming pool, fully equipped gymnasium, dining room, recreation areas and landscaped outdoor spaces. Oasis provides accommodation services to long-term and short-term guests and operates year-round.


About the Role

We are seeking three (3) full-time Commercial Housekeepers for long-term employment. The successful applicants will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across accommodation rooms and common areas.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cleaning, vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Making beds and changing linen
  • Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing toiletries
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Emptying waste and disposing of rubbish
  • Cleaning kitchens, dining areas and appliances
  • Washing, drying, ironing and handling linen
  • Maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Complying with workplace health and safety requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial housekeeping or cleaning (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to live and work in a remote location
  • Must have the right to work in Australia

Hours and Employment Conditions

  • Full-time position – 38 hours per week
  • Shift work may include weekends and public holidays

  • Paid in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020
Receptionist (2 Positions) – Newman, WA

About the Role

We are seeking two (2) full-time Receptionists for long-term employment. The successful applicants will be responsible for greeting and checking-in guests and providing customer service thoroughout their stay. This role is central to the hospitality experience and is eligible under several DAMA agreements across regional Australia.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel
  • Manage room reservations and cancellations
  • Provide information abotu hotel services, local attractions and transport
  • Answer telephone and email inquiries
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments
  • Process payments and issue invoices or receipts
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area
  • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing and photocopying

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in reception and with a booking system (preferred but not essential)
  • Computer skills including Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to live and work in a remote location
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
